“What a great album! “She’s About To Cross My Mind” by The Red Button, an asset from LA duo consisting of singer-songwriters Seth Swirsky and Mike Ruekberg, translates very catchy way to beat the best of sixties to the here and now. Beautiful vocal harmonies, ringing guitars all over the place and especially downright great songs, one still prettier than the other. The Beatles come to mind will often (“Cruel Girl”, “She’s About To Cross My Mind,” “Free,” “Hopes Up”), but the Byrds (“Can not Stop Thinking About Her”), the Sir Douglas Quintet (“Gonna Make You Mine” – that organ!) and many, many others. An incredible sense of strong melodies, these two guys! These are songs such as Paul McCartney not make them for years! For us, certainly the summer album of 2007!”
